Well, we already know about the three states of matter... Let's remember them and give some examples that we might find around us ...

Now... Let's let's have a look at this picture and think:

Which ball is bigger? The one on the right or the one on the left?

Now... Which ball is heavier? The one on the right all the one on the left?

Why does that happen??

... The ball on the left hand side has a bigger volume, and the ball on the right hand side has a lower volume and a bigger mass...

Mass is the quantity of matter that one object has. And volume is the amount of space that an object occupies... Sometimes the volume is big and the mass too, but sometimes the volume is small and the mass is big...
